How it works

Average paychecks per month: weekly 52/12, biweekly 26/12, twice monthly 2, monthly 1. Bills per paycheck = monthly bills / paychecks per month. Left = pay - bills - savings per paycheck. Biweekly pay gives two months a year with a third check; the full planner maps each bill to the exact check.

FAQ

Why does biweekly pay feel tighter than it looks?

Most months have two checks and bills are monthly. Two months a year have three checks. Averages hide that, so the planner maps each bill to its actual check.
